Haven't found a solution for this apart from rebooting in OS9. I have been copying a lot of old cassettes and LPs to CD using a simple RCA to 3.5mm adaptor, feeding the outputs from either the turntable pre-amp or the cassette player to the microphone socket on my Beige G3. Works a treat. Then I upgraded to OSX (.2.1) and it all goes warm and yellow. The Sound control panel only offers the option of the "Built-in audio controller" which apparently can respond to the plaintalk microphone but misses a normal audio input. Will this be one of the forever unsupported features of OSX, seeing that the Beige G3s are only just on Apple's radar or can I continue my prayers that some staunch fellow will fill the gap (as the Actress said to the Bishop)
