These drives are no longer being sold. They may not be technically 
"unsupported", but anything you could buy from Imation would exceed the 
value of the drive.

There are two main versions of this drive. The older one comes in a 
Bondi blue case. The newer "ice", model is faster and more reliable. It 
can read/write to standard floppies at a 2X rate, compared to native 
floppy drives. Like all non-Apple drives, it cannot read Mac 800 or 
400K diskettes. Either model is supported by OS 9 and X with no 
additional drivers required.

I have an ice model, which works OK. It's power supply doesn't appear 
to be out of the ordinary. The right universal adapter would likely be 
satisfactory. I can probably send you a image of the label if it would 
help.

You might also consider a WTB posting in the LEM-Swap list, usenet, 
etc. for a power supply. A lot of these were sold a few years back and 
a lot have failed, over the years. There must be a supply in the hands 
of self-motivated potential sellers.
