I figured it out. Here's how I solved the problem. I first installed diskwarrior to the OS 9.2.2 disk. Then I copied the System 9.2.2 from the Hard drive to the toast window. I also copied the installed diskwarrior application included extensions and preferences to toast. I took out all the unnecessary System files for a boot disk. After the CD was finished I booted off the CD, and Diskwarrior, Techtool Pro, and Norton all work. So in way the preferences was on the right track, just needed to take it to the next level.
