I have a beige MTG3/300 - 9.2.2 & Jaguar 2 x SCSI-3 F&W 4GB Drives & 1 x 4GB ATA fitted.
I'm finding 384Mb insufficient RAM - (e.g. - keeping InDesign, Illustrator & Photoshop simultaneously). SysProfiler reports... Production information ROM revision: $77D.45F1 Serial number: Not applicable Software bundle: Not applicable Sales order number: Not applicable This means (I presume) rev2 mobo/ROM. In spite of what Apple & some dealers claim, will it recognise 3 x 256Mb sticks as 768Mb, or will it still claim there's only 384? If it will recognise it, I would look for PC100 as it's everywhere & cheap, but are there any caveats anyone on the list has discovered?
