I use a B&W G3-350 & recently picked up an external Lacie CD-RW U1+2
(40x12x48), Firewire & USB 2.0 compatible -- apprx. $350 CDN ($160-190
US). It's a very nice machine...does quick burns even on OS 8.6 (as well
as 9.x and 10.2). It might be a good alternative in case you can't find
a compatible internal CD-RW....I was also tempted to get an internal but
after some checking & calling, I decided to go with the ext. version.
Just another alternative....

best,
Sue
