My new to me B&W G3 came with a DVD player. At this time I do not have much use for a DVD. I would find CD-RW unit much more useful. I was wondering about options for replacing the DVD unit and have a couple questions.
Do I need to stick with an Apple unit in order to continue to boot? Would the DVD capabilities of either a "combo drive" or a "Super Drive" work with the DVD decoder card that came with the B&W G3? While I still have OS 9 installed on this computer, I am really only working with OS X (Jaguar). Thanks for looking. bill -- \/\/i||i@^^ ()\/e -- G-List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
