Well, as we all have seen some of people on the assorted Mac lists complain about how Apple has handled the OS 9 and the future, and support for legacy systems. Well, The Register is reporting that with Office 11 (currently in Beta) Microsoft will NOT include compatibility for Win9X! That means all those who bought ME and 98 are stuck with their current version of office. If they want more, they will have to spend how much for XP or Win2K. Me? I am buying Appleworks, and THAT will be MY last connection to the MS world. I use Mozilla or Navigator, Jaguar Mail app, iCal etc. Ah, free, free at last ;-)
