I have a Rev. A B&W with a Radeon 7000 PCI video card, 1 gig of RAM, Adaptec 29160 Ultra 160 SCSI card, SIIG ATA 100/133 card, 10,000 RPM Fujitsu 18 gig drive, 2 - 7200 RPM Western Digital Caviar 30 gig drives, internal Zip 100, internal LiteOn 40X12X48 CDRW, an Apple 450 mhz G3 processor clocked to 475 mhz, a 17" and 15" monitor, external Zip 250 SCSI, external Umax 1200S w/transparency adapter (works with VueScan in X) and an Epson C60 inkjet USB. OS X has been running rock solid since 10.1. In fact I am currently running 10.2.2 (build 6F14) and that is running great! With all the modifications etc. I have you would think I would have problems if anyone, but that's not the case.
Find a little app called Dimm First Aid and use it to check your RAM. I've heard of RAM (that isn't up to Apple spces) causing all kinds of sporadic problems. Jaguar is solid for a number of friends of mine running various Macs. I hope you find your problem. Bob -- G-List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
