The problem is that Epson does not make a driver for
OSX using the serial port. You might want to double up
on any PCI slots that offer combinations so you can
put a USB card in. Also, I have an Epson 900 and I
could not get the printer to work in 10.1.4 & 10.1.5
and at the time reinstalled back to 10.1.3. But I have
Jaguar installed now; so far, seems to be pretty good.
I find it a worthwhile upgrade, as it seems to work
better in my Beige G3, although I have a motorola 466
processer added.

But if it's, any consolation, Epson has been slow in
developing printer drivers even for XP. There still is
not a full driver for my Epson 900 in XP.
