Apple is a significant OEM customer for ATi. When Apple (Steve Jobs) 
publicly thrashed them for leaking info about the graphics card 
included in the original Cube just before its big MacWorld unveiling, 
their penitent chief was reportedly in tears while apologizing. Apple 
they care about. Purchasers of an old PCI card with very limited market 
potential are another matter.
