Beige G3 doesn't have USB (unless you've installed a card).
There is also a Mac printer port version, which I've used successfully. You
can probably find a used one cheap.

HP has a group of products "HP Jetdirect" that does that. Several versions
with different interfaces.

Try it -- that's basically what the Powerprint cable does.

Also many PC printers also have a serial (RS232) port.
