Where is the G3 333 cuda switch?, I want to try it since my G3 doesn't want ANY SCSI devices on the external (not the native) SCSI card port (not even just connected). Have tried everything setting different IDs terminating the last device on SCSI chain even when it's off.
Reseatted RAM, ROM, rebuilt the desktop, removed PRAM batt, everything looks great. Still the computer (used to hang) but now completely crashes right after RAM check don't matter if deviced are on or off. Works great if nothing is connected to SCSI card port (the native port works great an external HD works). I have a Yamaha CDRW and a JAZ Drive, my config is like this: 256MB RAM 9GB HardDrive (68-pin UW int on SCSI card) ID 0 2GB HardDrive (50-pin int on SCSI card) ID 4 OS 9.1 Jaz Drive (ext) ID 5 (have changed to other IDs and have switch places with the CDRW) Yamaha CDRW (ext) ID 1 (have changed IDs as well and terminated accordingly if it's at the end of SCSI chain. Will the cuda do the trick? How risky is the procedure for my precious mac? TIA Liliana -- G-List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
