I also thought about that simple but intelligent solution, what cable would I 
need? 50-pin male UW on one side and 25-pin male in the other?  will it just 
work? are they widely available?  the questions might be too naive but I 
never had experience with UW (68-pin) stuff and was kinda phobic to try it 
out, just fear to try something new.  Now it's becoming a fact that trying 
something new is exactly what I thought it would be!

Also WHY is the connector in the card bigger than the ones on the devices UW 
68-pin on one side then 50-pin on the other (something else that makes this 
more confusing!)
