Aloha
Sometimes a board or two can come loose or loose contact.
What has worked for me many times over on the G3's here is to just
pull out all the boards and cpu. Make sure you make a note where
they all go and are grounded to power supply to be static proof. Of
course all is unplugged. Wait a few min. too after unplugging.
I put all the boards aside and just let it all rest for a day or two.
Go ahead and re-install everything making sure all the boards seat
well and proper in the slots. Make sure that the back screw is put
back in on the video board and that board is seated well. I have had
3 G3's that I have worked on that had all different problems that
were fixed with the video board was seated properly. Put in a new
battery and push the cuda button for a bit.

Start it up and cross your fingers. Go to version tracker and down
load Tech Tool ( free version ) to help with zapping the pram and
rebuilding the desktop. If the video board is bad, there are boards
that you can install in the pci slots.

Hope it all works out.

Steve
