This sound familiar to anyone??

Blue G3 400 - 1GB RAM

Just upgraded to Jaguar, 10.2.0 to be specific, and have lost
communication to the internet, in a very annoying way. OS 9 still works
fine. In fact under OSX Internet Connect fires up the modem a treat and
there is evidence of handshaking going on, but the the only activity
after communication is established is a bouncing send bar. Full, half
none, full half none to infinity.

My wife's Wallstreet connects to the same ISP; so it's not OSX
incompatibility, and I've borrowed a friends USB modem which gives the
same result so it isn't the hardware [modem updater 2.0 employed]. I've
been through 8 different modem scripts [the Apple v34 works best in OS
9] and can't get any improvement. Despite having a connection there is
nothing coming back.

This has happened with all versions of OSX, I was hoping X.2 would sort
it. Now im getting despondent.
