I bought a G4/500 MaxPower G4 ZIF from LEM Sale List. After I put it in using the stock DIP settings and booting up the Apple profiler shows it running at 333 MHz with a 66 MHz Bus speed. I have been unable to locate Gauge Pro that runs on X, and the Cache software I downloaded shows as "old bill or missing package" so I cannot control the cache. My question is this: The manual supplied with the ZIF only shows a G4/400 dip settings. With them set as shown I get the 333. Does anyone have the current ZIF settings for NewerTech G4/500 ZIF chip, or know where I can get them. My machine s a G3/BeigeDT, stock settings as far as bus etc. I was running a G4/400 from MaxPower, and it runs great at 400 MHz with a 66 MHz bus speed. I would also like to know if anyone has Gauge that runs in X, and Cache controlling software that is complete and works in X. Thanks, John
