Yes you can, and your options are similar for both models. You can use an external USB wireless adapter, a stand-alone AP (access point) or router with an ethernet port, or a PCI card. Of course you have to find ones with Mac drivers; one seller I know of is www.macwireless.com, who appear to be selling re-branded Proxim Skyline equipment, which is also available with Mac drivers. You might want to have a look at my page: http://melbourne.wireless.org.au/wiki/?Apple (nb: work in progress) You will hear of people in the PC world using PCMCIA wireless cards in PCI<>PCMCIA adapters. I believe this is an option, but you must be aware that *both* the card and the adapter will require their own Mac drivers, and some adapters will only work with the same manufacturer's PCMCIA cards. It's probably best to buy them as a bundle, or to buy a straight PCI card or USB. Other brands which may be worth investigating are D-Link, Orinoco brand from Avaya (or whatever they are called now), and Cisco ($$$$) As for connecting to an Airport network - the WiFi standard is a cross-platform industry agreement, and so all brands of cards will talk to each other, once configuration of the appropriate control panel etc settings is sorted out. If you are looking at second hand cards, DO NOT get stuck with one of the older 2 meg cards (forgotten the name for now) - they work to a different standard, and will not connect to a WiFi/Airport network.
