I recently purchased a G4 Sawtooth at a very good price. It has a VGA
connection plus a connector for the Cinema display.
Having a hard time finding the right connector for the G4.

Is there a site or resource that defines the different connectors on
computers and monitors and what converter or adapter is necessary?
I can't believe how often the connector is changed. There is no way I am
going to buy a monitor with every new computer I buy. I have purchased 3
different adapters with no success.
I have older monitors that I would like to use, or failing that, I would not
mind buying a new or previously owned monitor, but how can I know if I will
be able to connect?
I have an ADC CRT display that I would like to use with this G4, but the
housing around the monitor connection is round and the G4 connection is
rectangular.
Appreciate any help...

Thanks,

Kathi
