The Sawtooth uses AGP graphics adapters, which is a huge advantage. If 
you're inclined to do so, you could take that up to a dual 1GHz machine 
with a very fast graphics card, albeit at a price approaching that of a 
new G4, and up to 1.5 GB of memory.

The only likely upgrade in the works for the B&W is a 1 (or even 2) 
processor ZIF card at up to 1 GHz. At least one of the remaining Mac 
upgrade makers is working on such a product.

The best move would likely be to put a bit aside, regularly, over the 
next year and buy a new G4 or PPC 970 model next January.
