Eagle,

If I understand your question correctly the answer is yes, sort of. I 
have two Beige G3s myself, a 266 Rev. 1/A and a 233 that is marked with 
a Rev. A sticker but has the Rev. 2/B motherboard chipset and ROM, it 
also supports slave IDE drives. I also have a good friend that has 
noticed the same thing with his Beige 266 and his Blue and White G3 
350, both were marked as Rev. As but have later chipsets on the logic 
boards. So, while the outline I provided in my last email is a good 
general guideline and proves generally true there are some "mixes" it 
seems.
