Recently my Beige G3 300 started acting up. Out of the blue it lost it's sound and now it bombs or freezes at start up about 2 of every 3 times. I reformated the drive, loaded a fresh system, reset the motherboard, zapped the pram, switched out the ram, installed a different hard drive with a fresh system. It bombs or freezes starting from the CD also. I have nothing plugged into the SCSI or printer ports and have no PCI cards installed. Could it be a battery issue? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
