I have found 9.1GB 10k rpm drives for $30, and an 80MB/s SCSI card for $50. I would prefer that to any price I can get on ATA. ATA is definitely inferior to SCSI, and thats why I prefer SCSI. And I do plan on using the IDE bus for the CDRW, thats one of the reasons I need to update the ROM revision. I like to copy entire games to hard drives to avoid using the CD-ROM, and ATA would tax the processor where as SCSI uses its own processor, therefore SCSI would be better to use for gaming.
