My wife's Beige G3 (OS 9.2.1) was printing fine. Key word: was. Now the silly thing is telling me that it can't find the printer. The printer doesn't appear in the Chooser window when I click on the LaserWriter 8 icon. The PPD is in the Printer Description folder in the Extensions folder. When I trash the desktop printing icon, it creates a new one of the correct printer. I couldn't get the printer to come up initially when I loaded the new OS, but after zapping the PRAM Chooser found the printer and created the desktop icon. I've tried zapping the PRAM again: nada. Anybody got any ideas?
