Yes

If you don't know the password, you can reset the administrator 
password using the Mac OS X CD.

 From  Mac Help

  Insert the Mac OS X CD and double-click Install Mac OS X. When the 
Installer appears, choose Reset Password from the Installer menu. 
Follow the onscreen instructions to change the password. Quit the 
Installer and restart your computer while holding down the mouse button 
to eject the CD.
