I bought an HP 2.1 meapixel camera a year ago, as the cheapest 2.1 I could find.
More than 4000 pictures later I still find it kind of handy and amazing.

Neatest thing is I bought a 128 meg card for it ($50) which gives over 300
pictures storage. But I then noticed that I could use the camera as a disk
drive. As you said, it appears as a drive in 9.2. So I upload stuff at work
and bring it home in the camera. That little thing has as much storage as my
old 128 meg EZ drive. It's a lot slower, but much more convenient! It's just
like those little keychain "usb drives."

At home I read the card in a reader that's part of my Epson printer...much
faster than the camera at transfering files. But that reader won't work in
10.2.3. No driver.
