I have a B&W G3/350, 448 RAM, 60GB HD, OS 8.6 - I am looking to get an external HD for saving music files and photos. Does anyone know whether the Maxtor 3000LE (USB 1.1/2.0) External Storage Hard drive can work with OS 8.6 or whether it needs OS 9.x? Are there other external HD's that will do the trick with OS 8.6? I don't want to change OS as i find 8.6 so stable. I'm thinking USB would be better as I can boot off it if needed in the future. Any ideas or info would be greatly appreciated -- thanks!
