Imusing Quicken 2001 on my G4 I had it on 9.1 also I did have some of the same problems that you are talking about . It will run under 1.6 What I did Is first is ether doreinstall of 2001 or just drag and drop it to anther drive then don't use the same Preference that you were using but let start new then when it ask to for a check reg. use your backup that have been useing if its on 3.5 disk or zip then it will open it up and it will work If you need any more help you can e-mail off list if you want Oh you don't have to go to 2003
