An easy way? No. A "downdate?" No. But, I believe that it is Not necessary to erase the drive, as is implied by the advice below. I think that you could start up from a CD. Then drag your system 9.2 stuff to the trash. Then install system 8.6. This will mean that you will need to do all that annoying configuring stuff to get back on the internet.
Perhaps you would want to buy an external hard drive, instal 8.6 on that, and thus have an easy way to go back and forth 'tween 9.2 and 8.6. hth >>Been using OS 9.2 for ...month, ... like 8.6 >>better.
