Need a little help here. I've got a G3 AIO, Sonnet G4/500, 512mb
memory, 6mb vram, running Jaguar. Works very well, except for annoying
problem with my monitor settings. Every time I start up, the contrast
and brightness on the built-in display are all the way down, and I have
to reset them in System Preferences, in the display settings. Despite
going through the whole configuration, and saving it, when I start up
again, I'm back where I started. I tried to trash the monitor
preferences, but I'm denied permission to do so, even as administrator.
I could do it as root, once I figure out how to enable it, but I'm
afraid of trashing a good running system by doing the wrong thing. Any
suggestions?

Thanks in advance,
Carl Kehley
