Sounds Like someone might have turned on multiple users and set up a password. Kind of rude, to not tell you. Try booting off your OS 9.1 CD. See if you can open up the hard drive and access the contents. If you can, then go into the System Folder and open up the Extensions Folder. Find the extension that says Multi-User Startup and then drag it to the folder that says Extensions (Disabled). Next open up the Folder that says Control Panels and find the one that says Multiple Users. Drag that Control Panel to the folder that says Control Panels (Disabled). Now reboot the computer. You should be able to get access to the Hard Drive.
