To anyone who has followed this thread:- I have the ultra SCSI G3/300 MT, and have swapped the first 4.5Gb HD for an 18Gb HD, have added another (free) 4.5Gb to the SCSI card, and have dropped in an 80Gb Barracuda for cheap storage.
This is installed as a slave to the CD (master) on Internal ATA Bus 1 Where is the other IDE (ATA) Bus? System Profiler only reports 1 - (Internal ATA 1) Can anyone enlighten me as to where it's hidden, and will my (ATA IV) Barracuda perform better when not on the CD's bus?
