[g3 beige 233 768mB 2-40g Maxtor, 1-60g WD, internal SCSI Jaz & internal
SCSI Zip, running 10.1]

After spending all day upgrading (Successfully!) my Puma to Jaguar, I
reassembled the system. Being tired I did not notice that the connector on
the back of the Zip drive does not have a key to prevent you from plugging
the power cord in upside down. Did not notice it, that is, till I powered
up and instead of the chime, I heard "snap crackle pop" and smelled the
telltale smell of burning electronics.
1. Blew the zip floppy drive out of the water.

2. Blew the ACARD ATA66 out; computer now does not recognize anything hooked
to it.
3. Blew the 40g (with Puma) and the 60g (with all my stuff) out, computer
does not even SEE these drives now.
4. Took everything apart, threw away the bad stuff, stored the G3 in the
store room. I'll come back when I buy a newer pc. I had a LOT of fun
playing with Puma on the G3 but all in all it was not a productive use of my
time and money; I will go ahead and pop for a second eMac or a white iBook,
I think.

See y'all later
