Hi all, Thanks for the advice everyone. I took your advice but ran into a snag. The device powers on, accepts cd's, asks how I want the CD to be prepared, but when I try to burn in itunes, the application cannot find the drive.
Before I installed the drive I updated from 9.1 to OS 9.2.2, updated itunes to 2.0.4, but when I ran the authoring support 1.1.9 installer it would not work because my beige G3 does not have native USB. It has a USB card installed, if that makes a difference. My Roxio Toast program seems to see it ok, although I haven't tried to burn anything with it yet. I really need this to work with itunes, as all my songs I want to burn are already set in playlists! Thanks again for such a great list. -- G-List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
