No problems. Nor does intentionally downgrading a Rev. 3C machine to a Rev. A ROM. My main machine is an all-UW-SCSI 333 MHz Rev. 3C which was upgraded to 533 MHz. The Rev. A ROM was substituted for the original Rev. C ROM because I could utilize it elsewhere, and this machine has only two EIDE devices: a DVD-ROM-R-R/W (Toshiba) and a CD-ROM-R-R/W (Matshita/Panasonic), and only two EIDE positions are needed, anyway, as there are three large UW-SCSI LVD/SE drives (and no floppy). The video is provided by a Radeon 7000, and the internal video, which is what the Rev. C ROM was intended to address over and above the Rev.
