It's not one of the standard Beige G3 ROM revisions, so you must be running 

X, and X is known to be patching the ROMs and providing its own ROM version.


That's how X adds Slave support to Rev. A Beiges, which otherwise don't have

Thanks! When I received this G3 MT, it had OSX on one of the hard drives. I 
deleted it and left 9.2 on the other hard disk. I now boot from the 9.2 HD. 
Would it still be showing this non-standard ROM version. Afraid I do not 
understand.
