Folks,
I'm looking around ebay for a harddrive for a Beige G3 and the tech speech drives me mad. I'm looking for a SCSI-drive, right? Wide? Ultra wide? How many pins? Any other buzzwords to look for?
Nope. You don't want a SCSI disk.
Beige G3's use IDE drives; you can likely walk into the average office or computer superstore and pick up a smoking deal (with rebates).
Much cheaper than SCSI.

A 30 gb 7200 rpm drive for $70 after rebates and instant savings.
