I am about to start an ebay business and I would like to know what program would be easy to learn and use to keep track of auctions and money.
Ted, when I browse the Mac eBay auctions I sometimes notice auctions that have been created by special "auction creation" software. Now granted, this is most likely just an HTML template but it may also offer up tracking and invoice abilities as well.
It's true that FileMaker probably can't be beat for rolling your own but you might find a purpose-built shareware thing that does what you need: claw around versiontracker.com
