I recently reported overclocking my OWC 466mhz G4 to 500mhz and it seemed fine.
Since then I have had a number of crashes in Photoshop 5.1 in OS 9.2, sometimes
locking up the system. I can only attribute this to the overclocking.

I suspect slow memory. There are two 256 Meg strips in my Beige MT. One came
with the used machine, the other is from OWC. So I suspect the old one as being
too slow. But such a small speed up.

The question is, does anyone know of a memory test that would catch a speed
problem? The tests I've tried give a clean bill of health.

Rich, Chances are you have a PPC 7400. Most (if not all) of the OWC's are. They are the first generation G4 and are barely overclockable. I have never stabily gotten more than 466 out of mine.
