I've been running Net 4.79 for a while with no problems. Lately I have not been able to get into some site, rickandbubba.com, without it locking up.
have you tried simply deleting your disk cache (Edit>Preferences >Advanced>Cache and something) Often a bad copy of a site will end up in the cache foreven and cause problems like this.
TS said I need to upgrade Net and I am wondering about 7.0? and if it will slow me down?
Other than the processor you haven't mentiond things like OS, RAM, etc?
NS 7 will most likely be roughly the same speed as 4.79, maybe a bit slower*, but it's a fair bit more stable and much more compatible.
*Startup is slower, but once started up it's as fast or faster
