What is the most I can put in it?

768 MB.

I heard I can put three 256 sticks in it - is this true?

Yes.

Does it use a 66hz or 100hz for ram?

PC66, PC100, PC133 or PC150.

Irrespective of the above, the SDRAM is accessed as if it was 66 MHz.

However, these days PC100 and PC133 SDRAM is usually cheaper than PC66, so
get the faster speed.

"Unbuffered, with EPROM", which is the PC standard.

At the moment it runs 128 - 64 - 64. Is there a specific order to put ram in

to improve or hinder performance?

No, the Beige G3's memory controller can accept any speed SDRAM and any size
SDRAM (up to 256 MB) in any order, but there is no performance improvement to
be had by any specific installation of the three sticks.
