I don't have experience with the Linksys model, but I do with the D-Link one
:) Since I have a Linksys wirelss AP hooked up to my cable modem I had to
tinker a bit when configuring the D-Link since each brand used different
default values for their IPs (I believe it was the IP for the DHCP server).
It wasn't that hard to figure out, but it wasn't as simple as plug and
play...so if you have an option to stick with one brand, I'd do it. I don't
have it set up right now but my intention is to use it to connect a PCI mac
to our wireless LAN - airport didn't seem like an option...the D-Link was on
sale at microcenter for about $60 (I think these usually go for 90? 99?)

HTH,
Caitlin
