not that i know of, i think they've managed to make it entirely proprietary (another reason to avoid them, web sites should use open standards), after all, it's all about the joke of how it protects site content (which of course it doesn't if you know anything about how the cache etc. works). unfortunately, that means some content isn't available, but not much that i've missed, though obviously that depends on what you do on the net. if you simply must use realplayer, i guess you could move it in and out of where it's supposed to be or otherwise disable it so it's not there all the time at least. a firewall might also be helpful, though i don't know how you'd set it up for this use exactly, probably by watching it for a while and blocking the ports and ip's it uses to talk to third host (i.e. other than your machine and the site you are at). i honestly haven't followed it that closely as i can easily do without it. a google search would probably be the place to start for substitutes or to secure the "real" stuff.
