Obviously you need a newer operating system, but you also might change the slot you put it in.
Some USB cards won't go in Macs at all.I have one I got from somewhere called "Catch the USB." I don't even know wehre I got it, but what is astounding about it is that NOWHERE on the bubble card does it identify a manufacturer or tradename or trademark of any kind other than to say it was made in Taiwan and is ISO certified etc.
