Hope this isn't too far off the list topic -- I'm just wondering if it's possible to share a LaCie d2 Ext. Firewire HD between my B&W G3/350 Rev. 2 at home (OS 8.6, 448 RAM) and my Dell 8100 (Win 2000 Professional) laptop at work? The drive is Mac/PC compatible for both OS's, but I'm wondering if I can use it with both OS's or whether I have to use it exclusively for one or the other? My main reason for asking is that I have MS Office files that I want to store from both computers on the external HD and am wondering if there will be system conflicts if I store files from both computers on the same HD -- should I partition the drive or is that even possible/desirable?
Any comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Sue
