No-label, grade-A disks are as good as they get. I buy them directly from the company that replicates/duplicates CDs for us. They actually cost a bit more, but they're worth it--I never get a bad disk.

In the US, I routinely find 100 disk spindles (Memorex, Sony, IBM,
etc.) for $10. Sometimes as low as $2-3 with a rebate. Generally steer
away from no-name disks (usually what the 200-packs are) as I come out
with a lot of coasters when I use them. With Sony and Memorex, I have
almost no coasters.
