I have a G3/300 ZIF from a B&W and I have a G3/266 Beige MT. Since the beige bus is 66MHz and the B&W bus is 100MHz is there any point to trying to put the "300" ZIF in the beige and set the multiplier to say...5(?) to effectively have a 333? Or even possibly 5.5 multiplier? I guess my question comes from not knowing if chips are ultimately rated for final speed (the MHz) or for the multiplier...but my guess would be the final speed.
The processors are interchangeable, you can probably do what you're trying there.
