Hi gang, Just today I picked up a G3 MT Server complete with 2 HD's, SCSI card, Ethernet card and 2 sticks of RAM. There was no VRAM installed other than what s on the board..and this I am only assuming. The problem I am experiencing is when I start it up I hear the chime and I get the Happy Mac icon. This is as far as it will boot. I have left the Happy Mac for an hour or more and nothing progresses beyond his smile!
Any idea what the problem is? I have reset the board, Zapped the PRAM and even tried booting it with OS 8.5, OS 9, OS X and Jaguar. No luck! Any suggestions? I would really like to get the Server up and going...and to also check out the drives . Thanks in advance, Kim -- G-List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
