I'm new to the B&W, and really new to the Apple hardware & software scene since 1/2003.
My question is: Can Jaguar / B&W Revision2 motherboard support USB2.0?
Secondarily, are there USB devices requiring USB 2.0, that work with Mac hardware?
The USB ports on the B&W are 1.1, not 2.0.
There is some support for USB 2.0 in Jag, but what is unclear is whether this is simply 1.1 renamed, and the USB folks pulled a fast one on the consumers earlier this year and renamed USB 1.1 as USB 2.0...
I do know that getting actual USB 2.0 speeds out of a peripheral requires an additional card and drivers to be installed., Orange Micro pakes one, and Sonnet's Trio card has USB 2.0 ports and drivers that come with it.
