Does the list have any words of suggestions how to recover this deleted file? It was put into the OS X trash and I have not written anything to the disk since this happen.
deleting files under Unix is a permanent thing...you can, with great and vast patience, a disk sector reader, and lots of filesystem chops, recover rm'ed files from a Unix system, but the easiest way of dealing with this is just re-installing from scratch.
