Other than the "Fact" that Apple tells us that OS X is the "newer and better OS"?--Has anyone found it to be worth the hassle or the money involved in upgrading to a new OS.
Yes. While 9.2.2 is slightly faster at some applications, the stability and multitasking make Jaguar far superior in my book. I use it daily in a plain old corporate business environment, use it a home for personal use, both daughters (13 & 19) use it on their iMac's. Even the youngest who "didn't like it" at first has now switched completely. She considers having to use 9 a step backward. :-)

It all sounds too much like M$ trying to tell us how good ME was. More bells and whistles do not make an OS better than the previous > one.
Well that's a little bit like being unhappy that the odometer was turned back by that "nice salesman with suede shoes" on your new used car. As you correctly typed "M$" has a well earned reputation let the buyer beware. Even they will admit that ME was an unmitigated disaster. M$ marketing types should all wear lapel pins that read "I Lie A Lot!"

Myself, I have had nothing but praise for 9.2.2.
9.2.2 is a very good OS, that does not make Jaguar a bad one. If you like 9, continue to use it. Classic will still be there with 10.3.

It is the marketing divisions that want us to change so they can "SELL" us something we don't need.
Depends. In my work environment I often have multiple applications running. With 9.2.2 I could count on the regular "ugh" freeze. With OS X it's a non-issue.
I have seen nothing good about OS X yet in this forum and from what I have dealt with it in reality--Pardon the term -- It sucks.
I respectfully disagree. That may be true for you, but I am a satisfied 10.2.6 customer and feel the price was very much "worth it".

JM$0.02 worth.
